Get Involved
YARN is taking a program hiatus for July as we rest and retool for the next year of our work. During this time we will be working to bring in new people who want to be YARN leaders and contribute to this great endeavor. In August our teams will reconvene for another year of work on this incredible project.

How to Get Involved - Do one of the following
-
Attend an Open House - Info and Reg Below
-
Send an email to yarn@uusf.org
We will respond to everyone during the week of July 4.
How can I contribute?
YARN is now composed into three “Area of Responsibility”; Ministries, Steering, and Staffing.
-
The Ministries Team is responsible for the programs and events that we put on for the public (e.g. monthly worships, small group programs.) New leaders can either support an existing ministry or pitch an idea for a new one. For those who love and want to learn how do ministry.
-
The Steering Team is responsible for the ongoing development of YARN as a project and future UU organization (e.g. by-law writing, fundraising.) For those who love or want to learn the work of governance and building organizations.
-
The Staffing Team are people who work on YARN as part of their official duties at another UU organizations (i.e. Joe Chapot, who is employed by UU San Francisco and uses staff time to coordinate YARN’s activities.) For UU staff people who want to support this essential ministry.

The Unitarian Universalist Young Adult Revival Network is open for new leadership! YARN is a revolutionary project to rebuild the continental UU young adult network and is made up of numerous lay and professional leaders. Each leader is deeply inspired by this project and contributes in ways that work for them, their lives, and their passions. If you want to be a YARN leader, either as a volunteer or in your capacity as a religious professional, then please attend one of our open houses or schedule a meeting with YARN Founder and Staff Person Joe Chapot (Calendly.)
